PEORIA, IL - With its season-long, 3-game road swing in the rear view mirror, Bradley Soccer kicks off a home heavy stretch drive Saturday night by hosting Missouri Valley Conference preseason favorite SIU Edwardsville in a 7 p.m. clash at Shea Stadium.  The Braves (2-7-2, 0-2-0 MVC) will play five of their final eight games at home, beginning with Saturday night's visit from SIUE (4-4-2, 1-1-0 MVC).

SERIES HISTORY
Saturday's game will be the 17th meeting in the all-time series, which dates back to SIUE's 5-2 win Sept. 22, 1989 in Edwardsville, and the Cougars own a 9-6-1 overall lead in the series ... SIUE has won three straight against Bradley to take a 5-3-1 edge since the Cougars joined The Valley as a men's soccer affiliate member in 2010 ... The teams have split (2-2-1) the five previous meetings at Shea Stadium.

SEE YOU IN TWO WEEKS
In the Missouri Valley Conference's new, unbalanced scheduling format, Bradley and SIUE will meet again Oct. 22 in Edwardsville ... Bradley also will play Drake twice - Oct. 11 in Des Moines and Oct. 26 at Shea Stadium - meaning the Braves drew the defending MVC regular-season champion (SIUE) and the defending MVC Tournament champion (Drake) as their two home-and-home Valley opponents this season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Senior goalkeeper Logan Ketterer is the reigning Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week ... Ketterer earned the honor largely on the strength of his performance in Bradley's last game, a 1-1 draw Saturday at Western Michigan ... The Braves played that game a man down for more than 84 minutes, helping the Broncos to a 40-8 advantage in shots ... Facing the third-most shots by an opponent in Bradley Soccer history, Ketterer rose to the challenge and set a career-high with 13 saves to equal the third-best single-game total in Braves history.

OCTOBER STRONG
By earning a 1-1 draw Saturday at Western Michigan, Bradley moved to 28-17-4 (.612) in October games since the start of the 2010 season ... As the Braves prepare to host SIU Edwardsville Saturday night, the Braves are 18-7-0 (.720) in October home games since the start of the 2010 season.

OLSON SCORES
Junior forward Richard Olson scored both of Bradley's goals during the team's 3-game road swing and he leads the team with three goals and seven points ... Olson has matched his 2015 output with three goals and one assist on the same 13 total shots ... Olson has been remarkably accurate with his shots throughout his career, putting 23 of his 34 (.676) career shots on goal ... With a minimum of 50 shots required to qualify for Bradley's career leaders, Preston Good owns the Bradley record for shooting accuracy by putting 58.3 percent of his shots on target from 2000-04.
