ABOUT THE BRAVES

• The Braves are coming off a Florida trip where the team went 1-2 during the Gulf Coast Showcase.
• Freshman Darrell Brown led the Braves with 20.0 points per game in Florida and now leads the team with 15.5 points per game on 50.8 percent shooting and 50.0 percent from 3-point range.
• Junior JoJo McGlaston is second on BU with 12.0 points per game and is also shooting better than 50 percent by converting 55.1 percent of his field goals and 52.6 percent of his 3-pointers.
• Rookie Koch Bar leads the Braves with 6.2 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game.
• As a team, Bradley is shooting 45.1 percent this season and 36.4 percent from beyond the arc.

SERIES HISTORY
• The Braves and Panthers have met 11 previous times with Bradley holding a slim 6-5 advantage, including a 2-1 edge at Eastern Illinois.
• Eight of the 11 meetings occurred prior to the Great Depression with Bradley winning 2-of-3 games during the NCAA Tournament era.
• The schools last played during the 2012-13 season – a 76-53 victory for Bradley – and are meeting in Charleston for the first time since 1926.

BRAVES VERSUS THE OVC
• Bradley is 31-17 all-time against current members of the Ohio Valley Conference.
• The Braves have won their last six games against current members, including an 84-78 victory against Southeast Missouri State on Nov. 18, dating back to its 2010 loss to Eastern Illinois.

ABOUT THE PANTHERS
• Eastern Illinois is 4-2 through six games this season, coming off 72-62 victory against South Alabama on Saturday – the team's third-straight victory.
• The Panthers are also a perfect 4-0 at home this year.
• Montell Goodwin leads four Panthers with double-figure scoring, averaging 14.3 points per game. Demetrius McReynolds comes in at second with 13.8 points per game.

• The Panthers excel at forcing their opponents into turnovers, averaging 9.5 steals per game and forcing their opponent into 20.2 turnovers.

ON THIS DATE
Record on Nov. 29: 5-6
Nov. 29 Highlight: After narrowly falling to third-ranked Villanova on the date during the 1995-96 season, the Braves earned revenge exactly two years later with a 60-48 victory at Carver Arena. Adebayo Akinkunle totaled 15 points and seven rebounds in the win, while Eric Roberson had nine points and six steals.

STREAK FREE
• Through six games of the 2016-17 season, the Braves have alternated wins and losses.
• It marks the longest stretch that Bradley has gone without two-straight wins or losses since a seven-game run to conclude the 2010-11 regular season. It is also the longest to start the season for BU since a nine-game stretch in 1992-93.

TOP MVC ROOKIES
• The Braves boast some of the top rookies in the Missouri Valley Conference this season.
• Freshman Darrell Brown leads Bradley with 15.5 points per game. He is the top scoring freshman in the conference – averaging 6.8 points more than second-place Landry Shamet of Wichita State– and places seventh among all MVC players.
• Classmate Koch Bar, meanwhile, is the league leader among rookies in both rebounds (6.2 per game) and blocks (2.0 per game), ranking seventh and fourth, respectively, among all MVC players.
• In fact, Bar is tied for 51st nationally and sixth among rookies in Division I with his 2.0 blocks per game.

WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU?
• The highlight of Darrell Brown's early success was a BU record-setting performance against Hofstra on Nov. 21.
• Brown notched 34 points against the Pride, the most by a Bradley freshman in the program's history. He surpassed the previous record of 31, set by Deon Jackson against Southern Illinois on Jan. 18, 1993.
• He scored the most points by any Brave since James Gillingham also had 34 (vs. Drake, 1/15/03).
• Brown is the first Missouri Valley freshman to tally 30 points in a game since Doug McDermott had 31 against Davidson on March 21, 2011.
• Overall, Brown's 34-point performance is the fifth-best scoring game by a rookie nationally this season.
• Brown scored more points in the team's fourth game against Hofstra (34) than he did in his first three games combined (33).
• The rookie is now the top-scoring freshman in the MVC and leads the team with 15.5 points per game, converting 50.8 percent of his field goals and 50.0 percent of his 3-point attempts.
