Bradley begins its 113th season with an exhibition against Division III Wisconsin-La Crosse on Sunday at Carver Arena with tipoff scheduled for 2 p.m.

OPENING TIPS
• The Braves are playing in their 82nd all-time exhibition contest, compiling a record of 65-16, including a 27-3 mark against college teams.
• Bradley has won the only prior meetings with UW-La Crosse, claiming victories in Peoria during the 1919 and 1984 seasons.
•  The nation's youngest team in 2015-16, Bradley returns seven letterwinners from last season (one junior and six sophomores), including all five starters.
• The Braves are the only MVC team to return more than 71 percent of their minutes played (82.0 percent) and the only program bringing back more than 70 percent of its scoring (86.1 percent).
• Bradley is still one of the youngest teams in the country, however. The Braves' 12 underclassmen are three more than any other program in the Valley.
• Sophomore Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye is the team's top returning scorer after posting a Bradley-best 9.8 points per game during the 2015-16 campaign. Current junior Donte Thomas led the Braves with 6.2 rebounds per game.
• Overall, the Braves return their top six scorers from a season ago.
 

EXHIBITION HISTORY
• Sunday's game versus Wisconsin-La Crosse will be Bradley's 82nd exhibition contest all time.
• The Braves own a 65-16 (.802) all-time record in exhibition games, including a 27-3 (.900) record against other college programs (listed below).
• Second-year Bradley head coach Brian Wardle is 7-0 in preseason exhibition games with a 5-0 mark at Green Bay and two wins in his first season at Bradley.
 

SERIES HISTORY
• Sunday's matchup marks the third time the Braves and Eagles meet on the basketball court.
• Bradley won the first two meetings more than 60 apart, claiming a 19-18 victory in 1919 before a 68-54 win in 1984.
• The schools are meeting in an exhibition game for the first time.
 

ABOUT THE EAGLES
• UW-La Crosse competes in Division III and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
• The Eagles are slated to finish second in the WIAC, according to the coaches in the preseason poll.
• UW-La Crosse claimed the WIAC regular-season championship during the 2014-15 season, going 16-10 overall with a 10-4 conference mark.
• The Eagles must replace their top two scorers from last season as Ben Meinholz is the team's top returner after averaging 10.6 points per game. Meinholz also led the Eagles with 73 assists last season and is the team's top returning rebounder after averaging 5.2 per game.
