PEORIA, IL - In conjunction with Tuesday's release of the 2016-17 Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball schedule, Bradley Basketball has announced the dates and times for three season-ticket holder appreciation events.  Head coach Brian Wardle and Director of Athletics Dr. Chris Reynolds invite Bradley Basketball season-ticket holders to one of three social events in advance of the program's 113th season.

The three season-ticket holder events are scheduled in three time slots - Tuesday, Oct. 4 (7:30-9 a.m.); Tuesday, Oct. 4 (3:30-5 p.m.); and Wednesday, Oct. 5 (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.) - in the Braves Club Room at Renaissance Coliseum.  Reservations are limited for each of the three events and will be made on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting Bradley Basketball Administrative Assistant Chris Braun (309-677-2668 or cabraun@bradley.edu).

Following the 13-game non-conference season, which was announced earlier this summer, Bradley's 18-game Missouri Valley Conference slate will open Thursday, Dec. 29, when the Braves host Southern Illinois at Carver Arena.  Other highlights in the double, round-robin league slate include:
  • The Braves will host I-74 rival Illinois State on the first day of Bradley University's 2017 spring semester - Wednesday, Jan. 18 - and will visit the Redbirds Saturday, Feb. 11.
  • Bradley will play four of its first seven league games at home, as well as four of its final seven.
  • Wichita State will visit Carver Arena for a Sunday date, Jan. 29, the week in between the NFL conference championship games and Super Bowl LI.
  • Bradley's 2016-17 regular-season home finale will be Wednesday, Feb. 22 when the Braves host Missouri State.
  • The nine Valley home games include four weekend dates - Saturday, Jan. 7 (Loyola Chicago); Sunday, Jan. 29 (Wichita State); Saturday, Feb. 4 (Drake); and Saturday, Feb. 18 (Evansville).

Start times for the bulk of Bradley's 2016-17 games still are to be determined.
