PEORIA, IL - Bradley Tennis took a look ahead to the 2018-19 season today with the announcement Weston, FL 4-star recruit Nikki Perlwitz (Bill Clark Tennis Academy) has returned her signed National Letter Intent to attend Bradley University and play tennis for the Braves next season.

The Braves figure to lose three seniors from their 2017-18 squad, Alexa Brandt, Alejandra de Lasa and Aimee Manfredo; and Perlwitz will join a group of four returning players.  A product of the Bill Clark Tennis Academy, Perlwitz currently ranks 194th nationally in the TennisRPI, sporting a 14-16 record this season against players with at least a 3-star rating.

"I am so excited to welcome Nikki to our Bradley Tennis family," said Braves head coach Matt Tyler.  "She's an outstanding student and athlete that will immediately raise our level both on and off of the tennis court."

With 36 dual match victories since the start of the 2014-16 season as the winningest 3-year stretch in program history, Bradley will try to keep the momentum building when the Braves open the dual match season by hosting Southeast Missouri State (Jan. 26) and Northern Illinois (Jan. 27) at the Clubs at River City.
