MACON, GA - Four Bradley errors and a passed ball contributed to three unearned runs, including the deciding score in the eighth inning, as Mercer (13-3) pulled out a 6-5 win against the Braves (3-8) Saturday afternoon at OrthoGeorgia Park.

Mercer, which improved to 10-0 at home this season, earned its second straight one-run victory against Bradley to secure the weekend series victory.  Sunday's series finale will be pushed back one hour to 2 p.m. ET to allow a forecasted winter storm to clear the area.

Bradley used the long ball to plate four of its five runs Saturday.  Right fielder Jean-Francois Garon launched his sixth home run of the year, a 2-run shot in the fourth to pull the Braves into a 3-3 tie.  The Bears immediately reclaimed the lead with two runs in the bottom of the fourth, but Braves DH Derek Bangert drilled his fifth dinger of the season in the sixth to forge a 5-5 tie.

Mercer's winning rally started with one out in the eighth when No. 9 hitter Matt Meeder doubled off Braves reliever Nathan Stong.  Meeder took third on a passed ball, then scored on Trey Truitt's single to left field.

Both teams finished Saturday's game with eight hits.  Brendan Dougherty and Andrew Ivelia both were 2-for-4 for the Braves.
