•  Bradley's 70 road (40) and neutral (30) wins away from home the last four seasons represent 69.3 percent of the team's 101 total wins the last four years.
•  Bradley now is scheduled to play at least 30 games away from home this season, including the first 18 to start the season.

Road Challenge
•  Bradley's schedule includes 28 road games against NCAA Division I opponents.
•  The 12 opponents who comprise those 28 road games enter Tuesday's action a collective  89 games over .500 with a cumulative 235-146 (.617) record through April 10.
•  Bradley boast The Valley's top overall strength of schedule and the non-conference SOS ranks second in the league.

Home Schedule Softens
•  While Bradley's road schedule has been among the nation's toughest, the home schedule does not appear as daunting.
•  Bradley is scheduled to play 19 home games versus nine NCAA Division I opponents that have combined for a 117-156 (.429) record.
•  The Braves started that home slate by taking 2-of-3 games this past weekend from Milwaukee.

Scheuermann Shines in Pen
•  Fifth-year senior RHP Eric Scheuermann entered this season with a 3.45 career earned run average, tied for the fourth-best career ERA for any Bradley pitcher with at least 100.0 innings pitched in the metal bat era (since 1974).
•  Of Scheuermann's 50 career appearances entering the season, 43 came out of the bullpen.
•  Scheuermann began this season as one of Bradley's weekend starters, but went 0-2 with a 9.41 ERA in his four starts to open the season, while averaging 6.1 strikeouts per nine innings.
•  Since transitioning back to the back end of the bullpen March 15, Scheuermann has made six appearances, going 1-1 with three saves and a 1.50 ERA in his 12.0 relief innings.
•  Just as notable, Scheuermann has averaged 15.0 strikeouts per nine innings in his relief role.

Luke Shadid Producing At Top
•  Bradley freshman Luke Shadid has turned in a stellar first half of the 2017 season, starting all 28 games to date at the top of the Bradley order, while also holding down the shortstop position.
•  Showing no signs of freshman jitters, Shadid leads the Braves and ranks fourth in The Valley with his .340 batting average, he ranks second in the league with 13 stolen bases and he is tied for second on the team with 20 RBI from his leadoff spot.
•  Shadid's 13 stolen bases already is tied for the fifth-best single-season total by a Bradley freshman.
•  Shadid's current .340 batting average currently ranks seventh-best by a Bradley freshman with at least 100 at-bats and the best since Dan Brewer hit .347 in 2006.

Home Run Count
•  Bradley tied the Dozer Park collegiate single-game record with four home runs in Saturday's 11-5 win against Milwaukee, then added three more dingers Sunday against the Panthers to raise its season total to 29 home runs in 28 games.
•  Bradley hit just 27 home runs last season and the current total is better than the team's final total in four of the last six seasons.
