The Bradley men's basketball team completed its 2017-18 roster with the signing of Luqman Lundy (Edgewater, N.J.) to a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday.

A 6-foot-3 combo guard from Edgewater, New Jersey, Lundy joins the Braves after spending two seasons at Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. With the Mavericks, Lundy helped lead the team to 49 wins during his career, while collecting second-team all-region and All-OJAC accolades. He appeared in 33 games during the 2016-17 campaign and averaged 13.6 points on 48.0 percent shooting and a 43.2 percent clip from 3-point range to go with 5.6 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game.

"Our goal was to get bigger and older, while adding another playmaker this spring," said Bradley head coach Brian Wardle. "Luqman fulfills all of those important attributes. His maturity on and off the court will have an immediate impact on our locker room. He also brings a lot of versatility to use on both ends of the floor and all he wants to do is win."

Lundy has two years of eligibility remaining with the Braves.

Lundy joins a program that finished the year among the top 25 most improved teams in the country, winning eight more games during the 2016-17 season than the season before. Bradley returns 11 letterwinners and all five starters next season, including 96.8 percent of its points, 95.8 percent of its rebounds and 98.4 percent of its assists.
