A trio of Bradley Baseball alumni enjoyed a memorable night around Minor League Baseball Monday, highlighted by the duo of Jason Leblebijian and Mike Tauchman combining to reach base in all nine of their Triple-A plate appearances.
The starting third baseman for Toronto Blue Jays Triple-A affiliate Buffalo Monday night, Leblebijian was 4-for-4 with a walk, two runs batted in and two runs scored in his five plate appearances, helping the Bison to a 9-3 International League win at Syracuse. The starting left fielder for Colorado Rockies Triple-A affiliate Albuquerque Monday, Tauchman was 2-for-2 with two walks, a double, a home run, three RBI's, a stolen base and three runs scored in his four plate appearances, leading the Isotopes to an 8-4 Pacific Coast League win against Las Vegas.
While Leblebijian and Tauchman lived on the bases Monday night, former Bradley pitcher
Cameron Roegner did a great job of keeping the opposition off the bases. Coming out of the bullpen Monday for Milwaukee Brewers Class A Midwest League affiliate Wisconsin, Roegner allowed only two hits and struck out five in 3.1 scoreless innings to earn the victory in the Timber Rattlers' 2-0 win at Fort Wayne.
