Bradley Baseball's Braves in the Pros all contributed to a substantial weekend of statistical success, while the current Braves on the summer collegiate circuits across the country also turned in their share of outstanding play during the past week.

At the professional level this past weekend:  Mike Tauchman was the feature of a spotlight in the Albuquerque Journal in recognition of the career season he has turned in to date for the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes, Jason Leblebijian was a combined 3-for-7 with two doubles Saturday and Sunday for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons in the final two games of their weekend series at Syracuse, Rob Scahill earned a save Saturday for Triple-A Colorado Springs at New Orleans, Max Murphy went 11-for-15 for Class A Advanced Fort Myers in a 4-game series at the Florida Fire Dogs, Matt Dennis pitched 3.0 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win for Class A Asheville Saturday against Rome and Cameron Roegner earned his first save of the season for Class A Wisconsin by working 4.0 perfect innings to close Sunday's win against Kane County.

Meanwhile, in the summer collegiate leagues, several Braves continue to show well.  Rising senior Derek Bangert now has reached base safely in 24 consecutive games and ranks second in the Northwoods League with his 26 RBI's for the Kenosha Kingfish.  Rising sophomore OF Dan Bolt capped a miraculous rally for the Springfield Sliders Sunday, hitting a go-ahead, 2-run double in the eighth inning to complete a 7-run outburst in the frame for a 9-7 win against Champion City in Prospect League action.  Jean-Francois Garon started last week with a 4-for-7 effort at Waterloo and now is batting .296 for the Northwoods League Thunder Bay Border Cats.  Rising junior pitcher Mitch Janssen earned his first win of the summer, scattering five hits with seven strikeouts in 5.2 innings for the Prospect League Lafayette Aviators in a 5-2 win against Terre Haute.  Rising junior 1B Luke Mangieri extended his hitting streak to 10 games by going 2-for-5 with a double in Sunday's Fond du Lac Dock Spiders Northwoods League win against Bangert's Kingfish.  Rising sophomore SS Luke Shadid has reached base safely in all 11 games he has played for the Licking County Settlers in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League and he is currently batting .362 with three home runs and 11 RBI's.

Fort Myers Miracle (Minnesota Twins) | Class A Advanced Florida State League

Murphy has started the second half of the Florida State League season on a tear and could be in the running for FSL Player of the Week after the first week of action since the FSL All-Star Game.  The center fielder continues to bat leadoff for Fort Myers and he finished off this past weekend's 4-game series at the Florida Fire Dogs by going 4-for-5 with a home run Sunday.  During the 4-game set, Murphy was 11-for-15 (.733) with two walks, good for a .765 series on-base percentage.  He had at least three hits in three of the four games and reached base safely twice (1-for-3 with a walk) in the lone outlier.  For the season, Murphy is batting .302 with 15 doubles and five home runs.  He begins the week tied for first in the Florida State League with 79 hits, tied for second with 45 runs scored, 11th in batting average, ninth in on-base percentage (.385) and 14th in OPS (.824).
