Enters his senior season in 2016 second among Bradley's active players with 52 career games played ... Third among the active Braves with 14 career points and four career assists and tied for third with five career goals ... Tied for third on the team with three goals in 2015 ... His three assists in 2014 tied for sixth on the team ... Assisted Bradley's game-winning goal in his first career game Aug. 30, 2013 versus New Hampshire.

AT PEORIA NOTRE DAME H.S.
Garcia was the 2011 and 2012 Peoria Journal Star Player of the Year ... A 2012 NSCAA All-Region V selection at his midfield position, Garcia scored 56 goals and dished 84 assists in his 4-year varsity career, helping the Irish to four IHSA Boys Soccer state tournament trophies, including state titles in 2010 and 2012 ... He was selected to play in the adidas High School Soccer All-American Game during the 2012 NCAA College Cup.

After completing his high school career, Garcia began training with the Chicago Fire U.S. Developmental Academy Team.

The son of Rodolfo and Maria Garcia, Alex was born Sept. 15, 1994 in Peoria, IL ... One of four siblings, older brother Rudy played soccer at Bradley from 2007-10 ... Recognizing both the academic and athletic virtues of Bradley University, Alex indicated a desire to follow in Rudy's footsteps as a factor in his decision to join the Braves.
