Earned the Collinsville High School Defender of the Year award in 2011 before turning his focus exclusively to club soccer.

CLUB SOCCER
Plays for the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Metro U.S. Soccer Development Academy team and has been part of the program the last four years with the U15-16 and U17-18 teams ... Selected his team's Defending Player of the Year in 2011.

"Donald has spent much of his youth career with St. Louis Scott Gallagher and, over that time, has proven time and time again to be an intensely fierce competitor and insightful defender," said Blake Decker, St. Louis Scott Gallagher Illinois Director of Coaching. "His commitment to the combative parts of the game and ability to read the game defensively are traits that will serve him well as he transitions into the next phase of his soccer career.
