2016-17 SEASON
Cross Country: Raced five times for Bradley during the cross country season, finishing among the team’s top five in each of the final three meets • Helped the Braves to a second-place finish at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship, placing 18th • Also finished third on the team at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a career-best 6K time of 21:55.0 • Set her PR in the 5K at Notre Dame (18:08.6).
 
Indoor: Ran the 5,000m run at the MVC Championship, finishing 12th with a PR time of 17:42.62 • Also competed in the 3,000m run at the EIU Friday Night Special with a time of 10:42.66.
 
Outdoor: Competed in the 5,000m and 10,000m events at the MVC Championship • Placed 16th in the conference in the 10,000m and 22nd in the 5,000m • Set a season-best time of 18:19.92 in the 5,000m run at the Crusader Open.

2015-16 SEASON
Cross Country: Paced the Braves at the Western Illinois Early Bird with a third-place finish to help the Braves take the team title to open the cross country season • Ran at the Bradley Intercollegiate in her only other outing in the fall.
 
Indoor: Competed in the 3,000m during the indoor track season and turned in a career-best time in the event at the EIU Friday Night Special.
 
Outdoor: Finished eighth in the 5,000m at the EIU Big Blue Classic during the spring and clocked career-best times in the 1,500m, 5,000m and 10,000m during the outdoor campaign.

2014-15 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran at both the Bradley Intercollegiate and Notre Dame Invitational during the cross country season.
 
Indoor: Did not compete during the indoor season.
 
Outdoor: Did not race during the outdoor campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL
Two-time all-state performer in cross country • Helped the Crusaders to conference championships as both a sophomore and junior • Earned all-state in the 3,200m as a freshman and was state champ in the event as a sophomore • Also earned all-state in the 1,600m her sophomore year • Holds the school record in both the 1,600 and 3,200m • Also lettered in Nordic skiing • Was the valedictorian

PERSONAL
The daughter of Steven and Rhonda Danielson, Elena was born in St. Cloud, Minn. • Two siblings, Greta and Paige • Majoring in biochemistry.
