Last Time Out

Wilma Nielsen won the MVC Championship in the Women's 800m race at the indoor championships last week. With a time of 2:09.66, Nielsen collected her first indoor MVC Championship. 

Nielsen also captured the school record in the Women's 800m (2:02.91) earlier this season at the David Hemery Invitational hosted in Boston. 

Nielsen is set to race in the 800m prelims set at 5:45 p.m. CT on Friday, March 10. If Nielsen advances, she will race in the 800m finals on Saturday, March 11 at 5:30 p.m. CT. 

Nielsen Making History

With Nielsen running at the NCAA Indoor Championships, this will be the first time that Bradley has sent a runner to the NCAA Indoor Championships since Mary Ellen Hill ran in the 5000M in 1999.
