ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Bradley Women's Cross Country has been predicted to win the Missouri Valley Conference championship, while the men's team has been selected to finish third place in a pre-championship poll by cross country head coaches in the MVC, released on Tuesday.

The women's team was unanimously selected to win the women's 6K team title, receiving all 12 first place votes. The team has been paced by junior South African Nadia Potgieter, who has been the highest-finishing Brave in all four races prior to the championship in 2024 with two race victories.

The men's team was placed third in the pre-championship poll with 33 points, two points ahead of fourth-place Drake, one point behind second-place Illinois State and 16 points behind first-place Belmont. The Braves received one first place vote, with Belmont receiving seven, Illinois State receiving two and Drake receiving one. The men's team is paced by another South African, sophomore Jayde Rosslee, who is coming off a second-place finish at the Bradley Pink Classic and set a new program record for men's 8K time at Notre Dame.

The Braves will compete in the MVC Championship this Friday, November 1, at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The women's 6K race will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the men's 8K race will take place at 11:30 a.m.
