The Department of Athletics is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated professional for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer.

This full-time, twelve-month position will coordinate medical care and comprehensive athletic training services and coverage for designated sports as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Athletic Training Services; perform administrative duties as assigned; maintain comprehensive records of athletic injuries and treatments, formulate effective therapeutic treatment and rehabilitation plans; make referrals to interact regularly with team physicians, coaching, and administrative staff.

A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.  In addition, athletic training experience in a collegiate environment is preferred. NATA/BOC certification and current CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required and candidates must be eligible for an Illinois state license. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences.  Proficiency with computer applications; general office software and knowledge of and adherence to NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations as well as a willingness to embrace and model the mission and core values of Bradley Athletics are required. The successful candidate must be willing and able to work irregular hours and weekends and possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
