ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Freshman Bari-Lynn Erais is tied for 14th and the Bradley Women's Golf Team is in sixth place after two rounds of play at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Erais fired a second-round 76 in the afternoon, following a morning round of 81 to finish the first day of play tied for 14th overall at 157. Senior Meaghan LeBlanc and junior Charlotte McGinnis both shot 76 in the day's opening round, but carded 84's in the afternoon to end the day tied for 21st at 160.
Sophomore Whitney Cox fired rounds of 85 and 79 to finish the day in 29th place at 164, while senior Whitney Bauer is tied for 34th at 169 after shooting 88 and 81 and sophomore Rikki Sobel carded rounds of 85 and 87 to conclude the day tied for 38th at 172.
The Braves are sixth in the team standings following 36 holes with a two-round total of 638. Michigan sits atop the leaderboard with a total of 593, while SMU, which is ranked 22nd according to Golfweek, is second at 603. Maryland is in third place at 614, with Western Michigan in fourth at 617. Eastern Michigan shot 632 during Saturday's play to end the day in fifth place, while Bradley (6th - 638) and Bowling Green (7th - 687) round out the tournament field.
Bradley closes out play at the Wolverine Invitational Sunday with one round of play.
