Tallahassee, Fla. ? Sophomore Sarah Westrick finished fifth in the 1,500 meters to highlight Friday's action at the Florida State Relays in the outdoor track and field opener for Bradley.

Westrick completed the 1,500 meter race in a time of 4:50.34 to place fifth in the event for the best finish for the Braves.

Freshman Niobra Peterson posted a pair of top 10 finishes as she captured sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.56. Peterson also finished ninth in the 200-meter dash, clocking a 25.83.

Fellow freshman Rachel Redenius turned in three solid performances on the day. Redenius captured 12th place in the 400 meter run, finishing in a time of 1:01.26. She also placed 14th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.21 and placed 24th in the 200-meter dash after running a 27.36.

Senior Tiffany Mack placed ninth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:24.22.

Bradley returns to action March 26 at Southern Illinois.
