COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The Bradley track and field had 10 season best performances Friday and Saturday to highlight action at the Missouri Relays in Columbia, Mo.

Freshman Niobra Peterson had the best individual finish placing fourth in the 100 meter dash. Peterson qualified for the finals in the 100 meter dash with a season-best time of 12.28 and eventually finished fourth in the event. Peterson also placed 10th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.88. Sophomore Maya Monitto-Webber finished 26th in the 200 meters with a season-best run of 27.20.

Freshman Julia Schurr clocked a season-best time of 1:03.94 in the 400-meter dash to take 15th and sophomore Sarah Westrick also turned in a season-best time of 4:45.40 in the 1,500 meters to place 10th overall.

Senior Jackee Brannan highlighted the field events for the Braves with a fifth place finish in the shot put. Brannan had a season-best throw of 13.45 meters (44-01.50) to finish fifth in the event. Kim Martin and Jennifer Jenkins also had season-best performances in the shot put with throws of 11.0 meters (36-01.25) and 10.67 meters (35-00.25), respectively.

Jenkins also finished fifth in the hammer throw with a season-best heave of 46.95 meters (154-00). Brannan also notched another top 10 finish with a ninth place showing in the hammer throw with a season-best toss of 45.18 meters (148-03).

Senior Sarah McKay placed eighth in the javelin with a throw of 32.86 meters (107-10), eclipsing her previous outdoor best of 30.68 meters (100-08). Freshman Kim Martin finished eighth in the discus with a throw of 36.43 meters (119-06).

Bradley is scheduled to return to action April 8-9 at Eastern Illinois.
