MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Senior men's golfer Craig Tautges (Hartford, Wis./Hartford Union) has qualified for the 80th annual United States Amateur Public Links Championship after tying for third place at a sectional qualifier in Milwaukee, Wis., last week.
Tautges tied Nathan Colson of Milwaukee, Wis., for third place at five-under par 139, after carding rounds of 69 and 70 at the Washington County Golf Course. Garrett Jones won the sectional title with an eight-under 136, while Tyler Leis was second at six-under, 138.
Tautges will take part in the 80th annual U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship, which will be held July 11-16 at the Shaker Run Golf Club in Lebanon, Ohio.
