The Bradley Soccer team may return 20 lettermen from the 2004 squad, but the 2005 Braves will have a new look when they take the field in their season opener Sept. 2 versus DePaul.  Bradley Soccer has signed an exclusive outfitting contract with adidas, according to a joint announcement from 10th-year Braves head coach Jim DeRose and adidas America.

“Adidas is pleased to announce that the Bradley University men's soccer program will be wearing adidas for the upcoming 2005 season,” said adidas America Midwestern sales representative John DePeaux.  “The Bradley Soccer program has a great tradition and has enjoyed much success of the years.  We are looking forward to Bradley being a part of the adidas soccer family for many years to come.”

As part of the agreement with Bradley, the Braves Soccer team exclusively will wear adidas footwear, apparel and accessories during the length of the partnership.  Adidas has long been a major supporter of international soccer and recently extended its contract with FIFA, giving the company Official Partnership, Suppliership and Licensing rights for the FIFA World CupTM in 2010 and 2014.
