PEORIA, Ill. --
Julee Woolston has been named the Director of Women's Basketball Operations, announced by sixth-year women's basketball head coach
Paula Buscher, Tuesday.
A former manager for the women's basketball team at Michigan State, Woolston earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State this past spring. This past season she served as a basketball operations intern for the Spartans. She will coordinate team travel and camps in addition to other administrative duties with the Bradley Women's Basketball team.
"We are very excited to have Julee join our staff," Buscher said. "Her experience and organizational skills will be great assets and we look forward to her helping us continue to improve in the future."
During her internship she assisted with travel arrangements for the team in addition to organizing the post-season banquet. Woolston also assisted the marketing and promotions efforts for the women's basketball team in addition to helping with the administration of the four-team Spartan Classic.
"Julee is a very talented person who will bring great enthusiasm and experience to Bradley," Michigan State head coach Joanne McCallie said. "She has been a tremendous asset at Michigan State and we are so very proud of all her hard work. There is no doubt that she will develop and cultivate a top-notch Director of Basketball Operations position in a very short period of time."
She also served as assistant camp director at Michigan State, after serving three seasons as a student manager for the Spartans. Woolston was an AAU volleyball coach in Lansing, Mich., for the Lansing Area Volleyball Association.
