A Biochemistry major who boasts a 3.92 cumulative GPA, Westrick has earned a spot on the Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll during each of her first six college semesters. Westrick is the first Bradley cross country runner to earn MVC Scholar-Athlete honors since 2003.

The Scholar-Athlete Team is a unique Valley award in that it accounts for academic and athletic excellence. Those eligible must have at least a 3.00 cumulative grade point average (4.00 scale). Student-athletes must have reached sophomore academic and athletic standing at their institutions, and they must have completed at least one full academic year at their institution.

Westrick and both Bradley men's and women's cross country teams are back in action Saturday, November 11 when they head to the NCAA Cross Country Midwest Regional in Minneapolis, Minn.
