CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Senior Meaghan LeBlanc is tied for 15th and two other Bradley players are in the top 20 after two rounds of play at the Islander Spring Classic at the Corpus Christi Country Club in Corpus Christi, Texas Monday. The Braves are in sixth place overall, four shots behind fifth-place Missouri State.

LeBlanc shot a 79 in the opening round and followed that up by matching her season low with a 74 in the afternoon to finish the day tied for 15th overall at 153. Freshman Bari-Lynn Erais and sophomore Rikki Sobel are both tied for 17th place, one shot behind LeBlanc at 154.

Erais shot a team season-best 73 in the first round and carded an 81 in the afternoon to end the day at 154. Sobel fired a season-low 74 in the morning and followed up with an 80 in the second round to match Erais at 154.

Junior Charlotte McGinnis is tied for 63rd overall at 166, shooting rounds of 86 and 80. Whitney Bauer, who is playing as an individual, in the event, shot 83 and 87 on the day to finish the first day of play in 77th place at 170.

Arkansas-Little Rock sits top the team standings with a two-round total of 600. Redlands Community College is second at 605, with tournament-host Texas A&M Corpus Christi in third at 613. Oral Roberts is three shots back in fourth at 616, with Missouri State (619) and Bradley (308-315 - 619) rounding out the top six, respectively.

Bradley holds a one shot edge on North Texas (7th - 624), while Sam Houston State (8th - 628) and Texas State (9th - 632) following closely behind. Lamar and McNeese State are tied for 10th place at 633. Northeastern State is six shots back in 12th place at 639, while McLennan (13th - 640), Texas-Pan American (14th - 650), Southern Illinois (15th - 652) and Texas-San Antonio (16th - 685) complete the field.

The Braves close out play at the Islander Spring Classic with one round of play on Tuesday.
