PEORIA, Ill. -- Thursday's softball doubleheader at Butler has been cancelled due to snow in the Indianapolis, Ind., area and will not be rescheduled. The Braves were scheduled to face the Bulldogs in a 3 p.m. (CST) in Indianapolis on Thursday but the two teams will not make up the doubleheader this season.

Bradley (10-9 overall, 1-1 MVC) returns to action this weekend when the Braves play host to I-74 rival Illinois State. The Braves and Redbirds (14-7 overall, 3-0 MVC) will play a doubleheader Saturday at noon at Laura Bradley Park and conclude the series with a single game on Sunday at noon.
