ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- For the second consecutive week, senior Meaghan LeBlanc (Calgary, Alberta/Western Canada) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

LeBlanc earned medalist honors for the second consecutive week with her win at the Saluki Invitational. She helped the Bradley women's golf team to its second consecutive tournament title. LeBlanc shot a tournament-record low 147 in the two-round event shooting rounds of 72 and 75 to finish one shot ahead of Illinois State's Samantha Richdale.

The Braves shot a tournament-record 301 in the opening round and broke the previous tournament-record total of 622 by eight shots, carding a 614 to finish 10 shots ahead of second-place finisher Eastern Kentucky. The field also included MVC members Southern Illinois, Illinois State, Northern Iowa and Evansville

LeBlanc earned MVC Golfer of the Week honors for the second consecutive week and third time in her career. The sixth player in program history to earn the award more than once, LeBlanc joined Agnes Kim as the only three-time Valley Golfer of the Week at Bradley.

The Bradley Women's Golf Team returns to action Monday and Tuesday at the Payne Stewart Memorial in Springfield, Mo., before taking part in the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship (April 17 & 18) in Wichita, Kan.
