Des Moines, Iowa ? The Drake Bulldogs sent the Braves to their third-straight MVC defeat Friday in a 7-0 win in Des Moines.

Senior No. 1 singles player Ashley Morris (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) took the first set off of Drake's Veronika Lesyova but, was unable to hold on as Lesyova pushed the match to three sets and took control, 6-2, in the third.

Morris and junior Elise Montrose (Portland, Ore./Sunset) came up a break of serve short at No. 1 doubles as the Bulldogs' Lesyova and Sarah Plowman snuck by for an 8-6 win at the top doubles spot.

The loss is the third straight for the Braves, who fall to 0-3 in MVC play, after two straight wins leading into conference action.

Bradley is now 4-8 overall on the spring and looks to get untracked at Creighton on Saturday at 1 p.m.
