PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley women's track teams was one of 75 Division I programs named a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team, announced by the USTFCCCA.
The USTFCCCA honors individuals and teams for their academic and athletic accomplishments during the indoor and outdoor track seasons. A total of 75 Division I teams had cumulative grade point averages of 3.0 or better.
Stanford was named the 2006 Division I Women's All-Academic Team of the Year for the indoor season, while South Carolina earned the honor for the outdoor season. Bradley was one of three Missouri Valley Conference teams recognized, with the Braves being joined by Indiana State and Wichita State. A total of 18 individuals from the track and field team were named to the Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll following the Spring Semester.
