PEORIA, Ill. -- Due to the strong possibility of storms this evening, the first game of today's action at the Bradley Classic will kick off one hour early, 4 p.m., Bradley Soccer head coach Jim DeRose announced this morning.
After consulting with the coaches from St. Francis (Pa.) and Western Michigan, the decision was made to move up the start of their game to allow for potential lightning delays. The scheduled Bradley-Duquesne game is still slated for a 7:30 kickoff tonight.
In Friday's opening action, Duquesne battled back from a 1-0 deficit to earn a 2-1 victory versus Western Michigan. Bradley followed with a 3-0 win versus St. Francis in the nightcap, creating a championship game matchup against the Dukes tonight.
