It's A Valley Week
? For the only time this season, Bradley's focus will be entirely on defending its back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference titles as both games this week will be played within the league.
? After playing their last three games on the road, the Braves (6-4-2, 0-0-1) will host Evansville (7-5-0, 1-1-0) in their Valley home opener at Shea Stadium, then will return to the road for a Saturday night clash at Missouri State (4-7-2, 0-0-1).
? The two games this week marks the only time during the 2007 season Bradley will play consecutive games against its Valley rivals.
DeGurian's Road Streak
? Senior midfielder Drew DeGurian scored a goal in each of Bradley's two games this past week to reclaim the team's scoring lead with 13 points (5 goals, 3 assists).
? Including an assist in the Oct. 3 game at UMKC, DeGurian has at least one point in each of the last three games.
? Going back even farther, DeGurian had a goal and an assist Sept. 13 at Western Illinois, giving him a road scoring streak of four games.
? With an additional assist Sept. 7 versus North Carolina, DeGurian has contributed at least one point in five of Bradley's six games away from Shea Stadium.
Donoho The Iron Man
? Senior sweeper Joe Donoho was one of three Braves (keeper Mike Haynes and defender Teddy Anderson) to play all 200 minutes in Bradley's two games last week.
? Donoho leads the team with 1,116 minutes played this season, of a possible 1,125 total minutes, coming out only for the final 9-minutes of Bradley's 3-0 victory Sept. 28 versus IUPUI.
Bradley-Evansville Series
? Bradley owns an 8-5-0 record in the all-time series against Evansville, which started when the Purple Aces joined The Valley for the 1994 season.
? While Evansville won the first four meetings in the series, Bradley has won eight of the last nine, including the last seven in a row.
? The current seven-game winning streak against Evansville is Bradley's longest-ever against any Valley opponent.
? The Braves have surrendered a total of just six goals, and never more than one tally, in the last nine games against Evansville.
Bradley-Missouri State Series
? Missouri State owns a 14-5-3 lead in the all-time series against Bradley, but the series has been a near stalemate since the start of the 2000 season.
? Bradley owns a 3-2-3 edge against the Bears since 2000, including a 2-1-1 advantage in Springfield.
