ZIONSVILLE, Ind. ? Senior Scott Phegley and junior Tommie Ackerman both shot 82 in the first round to help the Bradley men's golf team to 10th place at the shortened Wolf Run Intercollegiate at the par-71, 7,065 yard Wolf Run Golf Club.

Phegley and Ackerman are both tied for 33rd place after one round of play at 82.  Senior Ryan Saurs and freshman Zach Wanken also shot identical scores, carding first rounds of 86 to finish the day tied for 56th.  Junior Nick Roth rounded out the scoring Sunday for the Braves with a 92 and is in 78th place.

Originally scheduled for a 54-hole tournament, snow and rain in the Indianapolis, Ind., area forced the event to be shortened to 36 holes with one round of play scheduled for both Sunday and Monday.

Akron holds a 16 shot lead on the field heading into Monday's action after shooting a first round 303.  Miami-Ohio is second at 319.  Northern Illinois is third among Division I teams at 320 and is followed by tournament-host IUPUI-B at 321.  Cincinnati Oakland are tied for sixth at 322.  Ball State is eighth at 323 and IUPUI at 327.  Butler is next at 332 and is followed by Bradley (336), Dayton (345) and Detroit (347).

Bradley will close out play at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate Monday with one round of play.
