PEORIA, Ill. ? Cold weather forecast for the Cedar Falls, Iowa, area has forced the postponement of Wednesday's Missouri Valley Conference softball doubleheader between Bradley and UNI. The Braves were originally scheduled to open a 10-game road swing Wednesday against UNI.

The Braves (19-10 overall, 4-4 MVC) and Panthers (13-18 overall, 1-5 MVC) were scheduled to play a doubleheader at 2 p.m. in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Wednesday and a single game at Laura Bradley Park at 4 p.m. on April 17. The two teams will now play a doubleheader in Peoria on Tuesday, April 17 at 3 p.m. and a single game at Northern Iowa on April 25 at 4 p.m.

Bradley returns to action Friday, against I-74 rival and 17th-ranked Illinois State in the opener of a three-game series. The Braves and Redbirds will play a single game at 5 p.m. on Friday and a noon doubleheader on Saturday.
