EAST LANSING, Mich.

The Bradley doubles pairing of junior Emily Regenold (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton H.S.) and sophomore Nicole Miller (Glendale Heights, Ill./Glenbard West H.S.) dropped a pair of matches in the doubles main draw at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regionals, Friday, in East Lansing, Mich. The losses eliminated the Bradley duo from the tournament.
Regenold and Miller opened play in the round of 64 of the main draw with an 8-1 loss to Toledo's Martina Woszinski and Maha Guirguis. The defeat sent the BU pairing to the consolation bracket. Playing in their second match of the day, Regenold and Miller dropped the consolation match to Marquette's Paolo Calderone and Christina Ruiz, 8-0.
With the fall tournament schedule now complete, the Braves will open spring dual play on Sunday, Feb. 8 at Valparaiso. The season-opening match against the Crusaders is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
