EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- Bradley's scheduled first round match at the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Soccer Championship against tournament host Evansville has been postponed due to inclement weather, the league announced Wednesday evening. The Braves and Purple Aces will play their first round match on Thursday in Evansville at 5 p.m.

Heavy rains fell in the Evansville area for a large portion of the afternoon and evening, forcing the postponement. The winner of Thursday's match will play top-seeded Creighton in the semifinals, still scheduled to be played this Friday in Evansville.

In the tournament opener, third-seeded Missouri State routed sixth-seeded Eastern Illinois, 4-1, to advance to the semifinals against second-seeded Drake.
