PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos Islands ? Former Bradley soccer players Duane and Gavin Glinton helped Turks & Caicos to a 2-1 victory versus St. Lucia in the first round of their aggregate series to open Stage 1 of 2010 CONCACAF World Cup qualifying Wednesday at Providenciales National Stadium.

Gavin Glinton, a four-time All-American during his Bradley career from 1998-2001, scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 74th minute.  Duane Glinton, Gavin's younger brother and a two-year Brave in 2000 and 2002, played all 90 minutes for Turks & Caicos Wednesday night.  Gavin Glinton served as the captain for Wednesday's series opener.  The two teams will play the second leg March 26 at George Odlum National Stadium in Vieux Fort, St. Lucia.

The Stage 1 winners will join the remaining 13 seeded countries (Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, St. Vincent & The Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, USA) in Stage 2 of CONCACAF Qualification set for June.  The top three teams from the CONCACAF Final Round in 2009 will automatically qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup?. CONCACAF's fourth-place finisher will play off with CONMEBOL's fifth-place team in a home-and-away series for one of the last berths to the FIFA event.
