CHARLESTON, Ill. ? At the first day of the Big Blue Classic hosted by Eastern Illinois, senior Kim Martin (Bartonville, Ill./Limestone H.S.) led Bradley with a third place finish in the hammer throw.

Martin turned in a third place finish in the hammer throw with a throw of 152 feet, seven inches. Sophomore Erika Sepich (Canton, Ill./Canton H.S.) also registered a top five finish, placing fourth in the javelin with a throw of 122 feet, six inches. Junior Jessica Holloway (Paris, Ill./Paris H.S.) was 15th in the long jump with a leap of 15 feet, 2.75 inches.

Saturday, 11 Bradley athletes will compete in nine different events beginning at 10:30 a.m during the final day of competition.
