PEORIA, Ill. - Bradley Women's Basketball fans will have a chance to meet the Braves as 10th-year head coach Paula Buscher and the 2009-10 squad will host a free Family Fun Day on Sunday, Oct. 25 in Haussler Hall.
Fans are invited to spend an afternoon with the Braves beginning at 2 p.m. in Haussler Hall. The first 250 fans will receive a Bradley Women's Basketball sack pack. Activities kick off with BINGO with the Braves at 2 p.m. and Kids Fun Zone, featuring a bounce house, jump shot and obstacle course.
Team introductions will begin at 3 p.m. with a 30-minute scrimmage to follow. The afternoon concludes with an autograph session. Admission to the event is free.
"This is a great event for families to come out and enjoy an afternoon of fun with our team," Buscher said. "We enjoy the opportunity to interact with our fans as we all are getting geared up for the season."
The Braves return 10 of 14 letterwinners, including three starters from last year's team which finished with a school record 21 victories (21-10 overall) and highest conference finish (fourth in 2008-09) since tying for third in the Gateway Conference in 1991-92.
