ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- For the third time this Fall, junior Breanne Neufeld (Coaldale, Alberta/Coaldale) has been selected as the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week after capturing medalist honors at the Duramed MAC Preview.

Neufeld was named co-MVC Golfer of the Week following a second-place finish at the Payne Stewart Memorial in Springfield, Mo., to open the season and also shared the award after tying for seventh at Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Mo., last week.

She was tied for third following an opening round 75 at the par-72 Hawthorns Golf and Country Club and climbed to the top of the standings at +3 when play was suspended late in the second round Monday.  Neufeld had a tough start to the day Tuesday, shooting double-bogey and bogey to wrap up the second round and slipped into a tie for second after 36 holes.  She birdied four of her first seven holes in the third round to build an early lead and held on for a one-shot victory over Western Michigan's Britney Hamilson to win medalist honors.

Neufeld claimed individual medalist honors for the third time in her career and has finished in the top 10 in all three tournaments this Fall.  She leads the team with a 74.2 stroke average and joined former Bradley standouts Bari Erais (six times), Meaghan LeBlanc (four times) and Agnes Kim (three times) as the only three-time Missouri Valley Conference Golfers of the Week in program history.

Bradley returns to action Oct. 26-27 when the Braves close out the Fall schedule at the FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational in Fort Myers, Fla.
