Women?s Golf Plays At Redbird Invitational In Fall Opener

Women?s Golf 13th After 36 Holes at Pat Bradley Invite

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Junior Breanne Neufeld (Coaldale, Alberta/Coaldale) shot a one-over par 73 in the second round and the Bradley Women's Golf team is 13th in the standings after 36 holes at the 32nd Pat Bradley Invitational at the par-72 Pelican Preserve and Country Club.

Neufeld turned in Bradley's best performances in both the first and second rounds, carding an opening round 76 and following it up with a second-round 73 to finish the first day of play tied for 23rd at 149.  Junior Caitlin Deeken (California, Mo./California) fired a pair of 77's on the opening day and is five shots behind Neufeld in a tie for 50th place at 154.

Sophomore Kelly Amundrud (Calgary, Alberta/Strathcona Tweedsmuir) matched Deeken's first-round score of 77 and finished out Monday's action with a second-round 78 to end the day tied for 54th at 155.  Sophomore Keegan Ryan (Groveland, Ill./Morton) also shot a 77 in the first round and turned in a 79 in the afternoon as she will enter Tuesday's final round tied for 60th at 156.

Furman leads the field which includes seven teams ranked in the top 90 according to Golfweek with a two-over par 578 after 36 holes.  Central Florida is two shots back in second place 580, while South Florida trails by three shots in third place at 581.  Tournament-host Florida International will enter Tuesday's final round in fourth place (582), with Stetson following in fifth at 589.

Missouri State finished the day in sixth (593), while North Texas and Daytona State College are tied for seventh at 595.  Drake and Florida Gulf Coast closed out Monday tied for ninth at 597 and the duo holds a 10-shot lead on 11th-place Cincinnati (607).  Florida Atlantic is 12th at 610 and Bradley follows in 13th after pair of 307's to finish the day at 614.  The Braves own a one-shot lead on 14th-place Murray State (615) and Texas A&M Corpus Christi rounds out the field in 15th at 624.
