LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Bradley shot a season-best 58 percent and scored a season-high 83 points to post an 83-68 victory against tournament-host UNLV in the consolation game of the Lady Rebel-Round Up Sunday at Cox Pavilion.

Bradley (2-3 overall) overcame 16 first-half turnovers by hitting a season-high nine three-pointers in the first half.  Freshman Katie Yohn (Elgin, Ill./St. Edward) was scoreless against Washington State Saturday, but hit 5-of-8 three-pointers in the opening 20 minutes and had 20 points at the break.

The Braves hit 7-of 11 shots to start the contest and broke the game open early on with an impressive 16-3 run, which included nine consecutive BU points.  Yohn scored six points during the run, while Brooke Bisping (Morton, Ill./Morton) added five as the duo combined for 33 of the Braves 47 points in the first half.

Bradley had scored a combined 40 points in the first halves of the last two games, but led by as many as 25 points in the opening half and took a 47-24 lead into the second half.

Yohn scored five points in the first 2:04 after the break and helped Bradley push lead the lead to 53-27 in the opening minutes of the second half.  UNLV (2-4 overall) capitalized on 17 second-half BU turnovers to trim the Braves' advantage to 14 points (82-68) in the closing minute of the contest as the Braves ended a two-game skid with an 83-68 victory.

Yohn had a game and season-high 25 points in just nine minutes of play as she connected on 6-of-9 three-point attempts.  Bisping (Morton, Ill./Morton) made her first career start and responded with 17 points, six rebounds and five assists.  The Braves shot 58 percent from the field and connected on 11-of-21 three-point attempts (52.4 percent).  The 11 three-pointers are the most since Jan. 21, 2007 and are tied for the fifth-best single game total in program history.

The Braves overcame a season-high 35 turnovers, thanks in part to dominating the glass.  Bradley held a 48-27 edge in rebounding, while limiting the Lady Rebels to 32.8 percent shooting.

Markiell Styles led UNLV with 12 points and six rebounds.  Kelli Thompson made three second-half three-pointers to finish the game with 11 points to help pace the Lady Rebels.

Bradley returns to action Saturday when the Braves play host to preseason Sun Belt West Division favorite Arkansas-Little Rock at 2:05 p.m. at Woodruff High School.
