PEORIA, Ill. - Already named a first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference performer, Bradley senior forward Chris Cutshaw (Carmel, Ind./Carmel H.S.) added to his postseason honors today with the announcement of the NSCAA/Performance Subaru All-Region Teams. In a vote of the region coaches, Cutshaw was named second-team All-Midwest Region.
Entering the 2009 season as The Valley's active career scoring leader, Cutshaw put up career-best numbers in his final year for the Braves. He led the MVC in scoring with 10 goals and added three assists for 23 points. His 2009 numbers pushed his career totals to 32 goals, tying Bryan Namoff for second on Bradley's all-time list, and he finished alone in fifth place with 74 career points.
With Cutshaw's recognition this season, the Bradley Soccer program has produced at least one NSCAA All-Midwest Region pick in 13 consecutive seasons and Cutshaw becomes the 18th different Brave to earn All-Region honors.
