PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior women's golfer Bari Erais (Lethbridge, Alberta/Lethbridge Collegiate Institute) has been named the Bradley Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday, after tying for fifth at last week's Duramed Collegiate Invitational at Rio Verde.

Erais was the Braves top finisher, earning a share of fifth place at 10-over par 223 for the 54-hole event. She turned in rounds of 77, 72 and 74 during tournament play to earn her team-best fourth top 10 finish of the season and a school-record 20th career top-10 showing. Erais' second-round 72 was her lowest round of the spring and tied for the low-round among 20 Missouri Valley Conference competitors in the field. An accounting major, Erais owns a 3.88 cumulative grade point average.

Each week, a Bradley student-athlete is selected as the Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week. The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in class standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.

Erais and the Braves return to action Monday, March 16th in a dual against Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla.
