PEORIA, Ill. -- Tuesday's home softball doubleheader against Western Illinois has been cancelled due to anticipated inclement weather in the Peoria area. No make up date has been announced for the games.

The Braves and Westerwinds were slated to play a 6 p.m. doubleheader at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria, but the games were cancelled because of the forecast which is calling for afternoon thunderstorms and one to two inches of rain. Bradley and Western Illinois met earlier this season at the Country Inn & Suites Invitational in Pekin, Ill., with the Braves posting a 5-1 victory on Feb. 8.

Bradley continues its homestand Thursday with a single game against Loyola at 4 p.m. at Laura Bradley Park.
