PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley's three-game Missouri Valley Conference softball series against Indiana State has been rescheduled due to anticipated heavy rains and snow in this weekend's forecast. Originally scheduled to play a three-game series at Laura Bradley beginning with a noon doubleheader Saturday and concluding with a single game on Sunday, the series between the Braves and Sycamores has been shortened to a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Monday at Laura Bradley.

Bradley (12-14 overall) opened what was scheduled to be a season-long nine-game homestand last weekend with a three-game series against Wichita State. After taking two of three games from the Shockers last week, the Braves had a non-conference doubleheader against Western Illinois rained out on Tuesday and suffered a 5-2 loss to Loyola Thursday at Laura Bradley Park. With the cancellation of one of the games in the Indiana State series, the homestand has been shortened to six games. The Braves are 6-5 in home games this season.
