PEORIA, Ill. -- This weekend's three-game Missouri Valley Conference softball series between Bradley and Drake has been moved up to Friday and Saturday because of inclement weather forecast for the Peoria, Ill., Saturday and Sunday. Originally scheduled to play a doubleheader Saturday and a single game Sunday at Laura Bradley Park, the two teams will play a single game at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria and a noon doubleheader on Saturday at Laura Bradley Park to conclude the series.

Saturday's doubleheader will also be the Braves (15-20 overall, 6-7) Dog Day Afternoon promotion. Fans are encouraged to bring their dog to the twinbill with free dog treats provided by My Dog's Bakery. In addition to free admission, fans will have chances to win free food from Qdoba Mexican Grill, Smoothie King and Papa John's.
