Mary Goldkamp (Florissant, Mo./McCluer North H.S.) recorded the fourth-fastest time in the preliminaries of the 800 meter run to advance to Sunday's final and lead the Bradley women's track & field team at the second day of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., Saturday.
Goldkamp's time of 2:14.67 easily topped her previous season-best of 2:16.35 set last month at Western Illinois. Michelle Brunk of Illinois State turned in the fastest time during the 800 meter preliminaries with a time of 2:12.48. The top eight performers from Saturday's prelims will run in Sunday's final. Leann Murphy (Rochester, Ill./Rochester H.S.) did not qualify for the final, but did finish 15th with a time of 2:20.42.

Amanda Harms (Wheaton, Ill./Warrenville South H.S.) was one of two BU runners to lead the Braves in a sprint event with her 15th place finish in the 100 meter dash preliminaries. In the preliminaries of the 200 meter dash, freshman Tatiera Bivens (Chicago, Ill./Marist H.S.) led the Braves with a time of 28.65 seconds for 16th place.

Lyndsey Cleghorn (Oswego, Ill./Oswego H.S.) was the lone BU participant in a field event Sunday, leaping five feet, one inch to tie for 10th place.
The Valley outdoor championships will conclude Sunday in Terre Haute.
