PEORIA, Ill. -- Second-year Bradley Softball head coach Amy Hayes will welcome back Bradley Softball alumni this weekend for the team's annual Alumni Weekend. The Alumni Game will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 at noon at Laura Bradley Park.
The Braves were scheduled to open the Fall schedule Thursday, Sept. 24 against Kankakee Community College at the EastSide Centre, but the game has been cancelled. Saturday's Alumni Game will kick off the Fall schedule for Bradley, which is coming off the program's first State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title and NCAA appearance.
The Fall schedule also includes the Fall Fling, Sept. 27 in Minooka, Ill., and the State Farm Illinois Collegiate Softball Championship in Bloomington, Ill., Oct. 3 & 4. Bradley's home game against Heartland Community College, originally scheduled for Sept. 30 will be played Friday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. at Laura Bradley Park.
