Box Score EAST PEORIA, Ill. - Junior Sonya Harris (Riverdale, Ill./Thornton) finished with her team-leading fifth double-double of the year (13 points and 10 rebounds) but Illinois State ended Bradley's season-long six-game win streak with a 68-53 victory against the Braves Sunday at Lorene Ramsey Gym.

Bradley (10-9 overall, 6-3 MVC) trailed 18-17 with 8:46 remaining in the first half after a Renee Frericks (Wyoming, Minn./Forest Lake) three-pointer, when Illinois State's (15-5 overall, 8-1 MVC) Ashleen Bracey scored 10 points during a 18-4 Redbird run as ISU took a 36-21 lead into the break.  The Braves opened the half 7-for-19 from the field, but made just 1-of-14 over the final eight minutes of the period and Bracey highlighted Illinois State's offensive efforts with 17 first-half points.

Illinois State pushed the lead to 21 points (46-25) in the opening minutes of the second half and led by as many as 26 points at 56-30 with 8:21 remaining on the clock.   Bradley made a late push, using a 14-5 spurt to pull to within 65-51 with 1:26 to play, but the Braves would get no closer as the Redbirds picked up their seventh consecutive conference victory and eighth overall with a 68-53 win.

After shooting 24.2 percent in the first half, BU was 11-for-29 (37.9 percent) in the second half and finished game shooting 30.6 percent from the field.  Harris tied for team-high honors with 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting and also snared a game-high 10 boards.  Freshman Katie Yohn (Elgin, Ill./St. Edward) was also in double figures with 13 points off the bench.

Bracey paced Illinois State in scoring with 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting and also had a team-high nine rebounds.  Nicolle Lewis added 19 points and six rebounds as the duo combined for 51 of Illinois State's 68 points and were a combined 16-for-25 from the field, while the rest of the Redbirds combined for 10-for-31 shooting.

Bradley returns to action Friday, when the Braves open a three-game Missouri Valley Conference road swing with a 7:05 p.m. game at Evansville.
