Box Score CANCUN, Mexico - Bradley led by as many as 18 points in the second half and never trailed against William & Mary, but the Braves had to withstand a late second-half Tribe run to post a 65-62 victory Friday at the Cancun Thanksgiving Classic.  Four Bradley players scored in double figures, led by senior Raisa Taylor (Decatur, Ill./Eisenhower) and freshman Kelsey Budd (Prairie de Sac, Wis./Sauk Prairie) with 12 points each.

Sophomore guard Katie Yohn (Elgin, Ill./St. Edward) hit back-to-back three-pointers to cap a 15-4 Bradley (3-2 overall) run to open the contest.  The Braves pushed the lead to as many 15 points (23-8) on a breakaway layup by sophomore Olivia Allen (Kildeer, Ill./Lake Zurich) 11 minutes into the contest, but the BU went cold.  Williams & Mary used an 8-0 spurt to pull to within seven points (23-16) with 6:34 left in the first half.

Taylor came up with one of her career-best five steals in the closing seconds of the half and found Budd for a breakaway layup as time expired to give BU a 31-21 halftime lead.

Bradley extended its lead to 18 points (46-28) early in the second half on a Yohn three-pointer, before William & Mary (0-4 overall) would rally late.  The Braves led 60-51 following a Taylor jumper with 3:43 to play, when Taysha Pye sparked an 11-3 Tribe run with a three-point play.  Pye followed back-to-back William & Mary three-pointer with another bucket to trim Bradley's lead to one (63-62) with 1:14 remaining.

Yohn split a pair of free throws with 50.1 seconds to play and William & Mary did not score on its final three possessions as Bradley held on to edge the Tribe 65-62.

Budd scored 10 of her season-high12 points in the first half to help pace the Braves, while Taylor added 12 points, four assists and five steals.  Sophomore Lauren Niemiera (Orland Park, Ill./Marist) scored a season-best 11 points and Yohn returned to the court after missing the last two games with an injury to finish with 11 points.  Junior Latasha Hollingshed (Bellwood, Ill./St. Joseph/Illinois Central) matched a career-best with 12 rebounds to help Bradley to a 38-33 rebounding advantage.

Kaitlyn Mathieu led William & Mary with a game-high 19 points off the bench, hitting 9-of-12 shots.  Pye had 14 points and Katherine DeHenzel hit four three-pointers en route to a 12-point outing.

Bradley closes out play at the Cancun Thanksgiving Classic Saturday with a 6:15 p.m. game against Pac-10 opponent Arizona.
