After setting the school record for assists by a freshman, Bradley midfielder Aodhan Quinn (San Diego, Calif./Mt. Carmel H.S.) has been named a third-team Freshman All-American by the CollegeSoccerNews.com website.
Quinn becomes the fourth Bradley soccer player to earn freshman All-America honors, following Gavin Glinton (1998), Chris Dunsheath (2002) and Chris Cutshaw (2006). Rated one of the nation's top 15 freshmen by Goal.com in October, Quinn went on to earn second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors and was selected to the league's All-Freshmen team.
Quinn helped the Braves (11-9-3) to the 2010 State Farm MVC Tournament title and the program's fifth NCAA Tournament appearance by leading the team with 10 assists. He finished as the team's second-leading scorer overall by adding three goals for 16 total points. Among those three goals, Quinn scored the game-winner in Bradley's 2-1 win Nov. 6 at #10 Creighton. He was credited with the assist on Bradley's first three goals of the year, as well as Bryan Gaul's game-winners Oct. 3 at Houston Baptist and Nov. 2 versus Western Illinois.
